Who Is “Mr. BreamBugs”?
Don Davis is the founder, owner, operator, and “Chief Fly Fisher” for BreamBugs.com. Born in South Mississippi in 1937 and learned to fly fish with his father at 10 years of age Don has been fly fishing for 77 years and enjoying every moment. Fly fishing for bream and bass in the clear, sandy bottom streams in Mississippi under the careful tutelage of his father, Don learned eagerly and has a wealth of fly-fishing information to share. Don founded BreamBugs to share his knowledge and experience and to provide quality products so that other fly fishers can enjoy the rewards of fly fishing. When you do business with BreamBugs you are doing business with Don Davis, not some unknown entity with the sole interest in just profits. Don Davis wants to help you catch fish and enjoy fly fishing and he will do that!

How disappointing, I read the intro this morning about “who is Mr. brim bugs “and was anticipating this was perhaps an introduction to Dan was going to write a book about his many years of experience. Well Dan if you haven’t done it yet please share your wisdom
I have fished for about 40 years now but recently gotten introduced to fly fishing and I must say that I am hooked ! I love your website and the flies that you make available to us .. Its truly a labor of love I can tell that much . there is nothing like a big blue gill on the fly in a south Louisiana creek .. GOD bless you all and may GOD bless the USA .. Thank you again

Don, if you get a chance look for A TRIBUTE TO MACK DUPREE: CAROLINA OUTDOOR JOURNAL on their website, Mack and I did many shows for COJ that were shown on UNV-TV in North Carolina. We fished many a farm pond with poppers and Bream Killers. Mack died about four years ago; he and I were know as FLY ROD JOE and FLY ROD MACK!!!!!
