Pultz Wildcat All Chartreuse

Pultz Wildcat All Chartreuse

Pultz Wildcat All Chartreuse

The Pultz all chartreuse Wildcat is very similar to the old Accardo Wildcat and the Bar Nun all chartreuse poppers.  The Accardo Wildcat and the Bar Nun poppers are no longer available, however, Pultz has come up with a very good alternative.  Well designed and durable it is a long slender body on a number 8 hook.  The all-chartreuse popper by Bar Nun was one of their most popular poppers.  Remember, “if it ain’t chartreuse it ain’t no use!”.

Remember the Accardo Miss Prissy?

Can you catch bass, bream, crappie and bowfins on a spin cast setup?  Yes, you can.  Here is proof, watch this video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLP9LaG20mM.   Using a Pultz Camo Frog with a regular hook Justin catches a variety of fish using a spin cast?  The Pultz Camo Frog is available in hook sizes 4, 2, 1/0, and 2/0 from BreamBugs.com.  When using a spin cast add additional weight to the popper to make it easier to cast, thread about ¼ inch piece of Stick Worm, large size, on the hook.  When casting with a fly rod the added weight is not needed.  For large poppers it is best to use a 7 or 8 wt rod.  See all the Pultz Poppers at www.BreamBugs.com.

Swamp Spider – Shallow or Deep?

The Swamp Spider has become one of our most popular sinking flies.  Now you have a choice of a slow sinking version, UNWEIGHTED, if the fish are feeding near the surface or a fast-sinking version, WEIGHTED, if the fish are feeding deeper.  Buy a couple of each and give them a try.  You will be very pleased at the number of fish you catch.  The Swamp Spider is ideal for use with the Miskito Coast Popper/Dropper Rig as the sinking fly.

SPIDER-BUGGER

The SPIDER BUGGER is a slow sinking fly which incorporates the uniqueness of two best-selling flies into one exceptionally creative combination of features. Patterned after the chenille body of the Ligon Bream Killer and the tantalizing legs of the Wilson’s Bully Bluegill Spider plus a marabou tail for additional action the SPIDER BUGGER creates lot of interest from bluegill and bass.  Three colors to choose from, Black, Brown, and Olive all tied on #8 Mustad hooks with eight rubber legs which provides lots of movement to attract those big bluegills.  Try the SPIDER BUGGER.  You will be pleasantly surprised with the results.
