Great pattern but the #8’s are the only size that will come with white rubber legs. I ordered multiple #4’s, #6’s, & #8’s assuming they would all appear as they do in the screen shot but this was not the case, instead the #6’s and #4’s both came with black rubber legs instead of white (additionally a couple of the #4’s had chipped paint). My advice, stick to the #8’s.

At the time I wrote my last review I was a bit frustrated with chipping on some of the flies and different color legs than advertised on others but the Walt’s popper black and yellow stripe (#8’s in particular) are such a great pattern that I think it deserves a higher scoring review regardless of the issues I encountered.
Only been fishing that pattern for two summers up here in AK but i have never seen Grayling lose their mind with any other fly the way they do with that pattern. More often than not they hit it more aggressively than they do a mouse and tend to come all the way out of the water doing it.
