Dry Cricket for Pan Fish

Dry Cricket for Pan Fish

Dry Cricket for Pan Fish

The Dry Cricket is tied using closed cell foam which makes the fly float high on the water.  Seven different colors to choose from. It is a good fly to use behind a popper on a Miskito Coast Popper/Dropper Rig.  Excellent when pan fish are on their beds in the Spring.

The Peck’s Popper shown here is the #7016 chartreuse body, black hackle, chartreuse tail pattern.  This popper is based on the original Peck’s Popper.  This popper was one of the favorites of the originator, E. H. Peckinpaugh. It is available in hook sizes 2, 4, 6, 1/0, and 2/0. Peck Poppers are now produced by Pultz Poppers.  They are all made in the USA.  For an interesting article about Peck’s Poppers send an email to info@breambugs.com and in the subject line type, Great Old Warmwater Patterns.  If you prefer a hard copy of the article, be sure to send us your mailing address.

BeetleBug CBC – Back In Stock.

Yes, the BeetleBug CBC Popper is back in stock.  We have sold out twice.  It has all the right characteristics for catching Bluegill.  It has a concave face to create turbulence on the water, a bright red “strike point” dot on its belly and it has a chartreuse body, black hackle, chartreuse tail, and white rubber legs on a number 8 hook.  Perfect for bluegill fly fishing and it is reasonably priced.
