Catch more . . . Knotless!

Catch more . . . Knotless!

Knotless leaders by Cortland help you catch more fish. The leaders are designed with a larger butt diameter to transfer casting energy properly down to your tippet for a controlled turn over and precise fly presentation. We have a wide selection of knotless leaders at: www.BreamBugs.com

“Bluegiggle” or Bluegill

“Bluegiggle” or Bluegill

While fly fishing recently I met a gentleman and his daughter. They were fishing with the traditional worms and bobbers. I asked the little girl what they were catching and she replied, “bluegiggles”. Whether you are fishing for “bluegiggles” or bluegill now is the time to flex your fly rod. Lot’s of poppers and flies to choose from at:

Rockbridge Trout Ranch

Rockbridge Trout Ranch

One and one half days at Rockbridge was the highlight of my 2016 fly fishing season. Rockbridge, located in the depths of the Missouri Ozark Mountains, is a picturesque spring fed trout fly fishing destination. My friends and I arrived around noon on a Sunday and I caught and kept 4 beautiful trout, average weight 1.4 lbs. On Monday morning I caught and kept 4 more trout, average weight 1.7 lbs. Almost all of the trout caught by myself and other members of our group were caught using either the Marabou Skunk, black and white, or the Mayfly both available on the BreamBugs web site. Thanks to everyone on the Rockbridge staff for an outstanding outing.
