Description
A classic nymph pattern tied by Terry Wilson and modified for bluegill, Crappie, smallmouth bass, and trout fly fishing. The North Fork Nymph is designed to represent Mayflies. Originally tied for trout after a rock-turning foray, has its tail and abdomen tied with cock pheasant tail feathers. Hook size 12 only.

Recently I used this as the dropper on popper/dropper rig, underneath a green foam spider. I caught a number of bass in the 1-2 lb range and quite a few 1 1/2 lb red ears. I wouldn't be without them now!
