The Black over Red Pencil Popper for bass has a fish scale finish over a red belly with black hackle and white feathers. This Pencil Popper is made with a stainless steel sleeve embedded in the body of the popper with an articulated stainless steel 1/0 double hook attached. It is free swinging as a trailer hook. This design means less wear and tear on the popper. When you use this popper you will find the majority of the catches will have the hook in the roof of the mouth of the fish.
