One and one half days at Rockbridge was the highlight of my 2016 fly fishing season. Rockbridge, located in the depths of the Missouri Ozark Mountains, is a picturesque spring fed trout fly fishing destination. My friends and I arrived around noon on a Sunday and I caught and kept 4 beautiful trout, average weight 1.4 lbs. On Monday morning I caught and kept 4 more trout, average weight 1.7 lbs. Almost all of the trout caught by myself and other members of our group were caught using either the Marabou Skunk, black and white, or the Mayfly both available on the BreamBugs web site. Thanks to everyone on the Rockbridge staff for an outstanding outing.
The Baby Red-Winged Blackbird Popper is tied on a 1/0 hook that is turned up to allow you to cast it near the shore line where the Red-Winged Blackbirds nest. This popper is designed for that “hawg” bass.
Chris Webber, Brack N Brine, developed the Walkie Talkie Popper in two styles, black fish scale over a white body and blue fish scale over a white body. 1/0 blackened hook, can be used for fresh water or salt water fly fishing.
If you are an avid bluegill fly fisher we have the top water poppers you are looking for here at BreamBugs. Chris Weber’s Brack N Brine River Runt and Willow Bub poppers are exceptionally well crafted and catch fish. See all of our 680 flies and poppers at BreamBugs.com
