The Green Wilson’s Sponge Spider tied by Terry Wilson has bright yellow legs. a hair belly and a bright red spot on its bottom.  Closed-cell foam tied on a Mustad 94840 hook this fly is excellent when used alone or as the “dropper” on the Popper/Dropper combo rig.  Great for bluegill and smallmouth bass.  For instructions on how to make the Popper/Dropper rig send us an email with “Popper/Dropper instructions” in the subject line.  We also have a “pre-tied” Popper/Dropper rig listed under Leaders on our website.
