On a slow evening with dead calm water and very few fish feeding on the surface. Tied on the new Dynamite Poper I had recieved and proceeded to pull an even dozen blue gills and one painted turtle out of the water. Why the turtle went for it I do no know. He wasn’t hooked he was just holding onto the rubber legs on one side, but I was able to pull him to shore where he finally let go. I had to order a new popper for the turtle pulled the legs though the body so the fly is now lopp sided.
