In reply to Sue Ann Miller. Wow! So you are affiliated with accardo fishing flies. 20 years ago when i was a teenager i used accardo flies and slaughtered bream and shellcrackers on em. Then graduated high school and had to start working for a living. But im slowing down now and fixing to stsrt back fishing. I was raised in des allemands but have finally settled in childersburg al. Im guessing by now mr tony accardo has passed away? Good to hear somebody picked up his designs and carried on the tradition.

Grew up in New Orleans, 60’s through early 80’s, have about 20 in the package Accardo BUGS from Security Sporting Goods, back in the day, with price tag stickers of $0.50 to $0.65, just recently found. Wished I could post a photo of them

In reply to John Harper. We have the Rollie Pollie made by Pultz Poppers in yellow body, black hackle and yellow tail. It is almost an exact duplicate of the old Accardo Round Dinny.

In reply to Sue Ann Miller. Thanks for your comments. Its unfortunate that the Accardo Tackle Company went out of business. The Accardo REPRODUCTIONS by Brack N Brine are very close to the original Accardo bugs.

My mom and I used to tie bugs for Tony Accardo and my dad and my father-in-law
Glued hooks into corks. Sure wish I had some of those thousands we tied as i now live on a river in south Louisiana and the fishing should be booming soon.

In reply to Tim J Harrison. We already have the Pultz Rollie Pollie which is very similar to the Round Dinny. We also have a Spook by Pultz in hook size 4. We have a Pultz Wildcat and Brack N Brine Crazy Cat both are made similar to the Accardo Wildcat. We also have the Peck's Grey Ghost #7022 in hook sizes 2 and 4. All of these items are listed under Pultz, Brack N Brine and Peck's.
