Only thing is cork wine stoppers are being used less and less, as they often allow air into the wine. Truth be told good wine in a cardboard box, with a proper storage bag does a much better job.

A case of better late than never, and for all those folks that have wine cork collections, rejoice. Your fishing is about to improve. Also you may be able to sell them like squirrel tails.

Could be the fish like the aroma of the wine that the cork retains. LOL

The Boogle Bug is my fav and most effective surface fly. And I believe one of the top reasons is the rubber legs and the quality of the rubber. Its not cheap or limp…..has the right stiffness and “quivers”. The first thing I noticed about your new cork fly is the curved bottom which will make it MORE unstable and sensitive to slight wave or rod tip movement causing the rubber legs more subtle movements when sitting still on the surface……as a big smallie sits underneath contemplating his next move. And speaking of rubber legs, three is better than two and they must not cling together……they must remain separated. I believe this is one of the major triggers to making a big smallie commit.
